Travel

Which airport should we fly into?

Malaga Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the most convenient airport. See our Travel & Stay page for full details.

Should we hire a car?

We recommend hiring a car, particularly for guests staying for the week. The villa is set in the hills above Benahavis and having a car will make exploring much easier.

Are taxis available in the area?

Yes, although we recommend pre-booking journeys where possible, especially late in the evening.

Is transport being provided?

Transport will not be provided, so guests should arrange taxis or car hire in advance.

The Wedding

What time should we arrive on the wedding day?

Welcome drinks begin from 2:00pm. Guests will be seated at 2:45pm, with the ceremony beginning at 3:00pm.

Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding will take place at El Cortijo de los Caballos, Benahavis, Spain.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Much of the celebration will take place outdoors, including the ceremony, drinks reception and dinner.

What time will the celebrations finish?

The celebrations will continue into the evening with music, dancing and late night refreshments.

Dress & Weather

What will the weather be like?

Early October in southern Spain is typically warm and sunny during the day, with slightly cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light layer for later in the night.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

What should I wear to the Sunday pool party?

Monochrome attire is requested for Sunday's afterparty, with white preferred and black also welcome. Swimwear is very much encouraged.

Should I bring comfortable shoes?

Yes. Parts of the venue include gardens, pathways and outdoor areas, so we would recommend suitable footwear.

Staying With Us

Where should we stay?

Most guests will be staying at Cortijo Caballos. Any additional accommodation recommendations will be shared directly where needed.

Can we stay for only part of the week?

Yes, absolutely. Guests are welcome to join for the full week or only for part of the celebrations, depending on what works best for them.

Can we use the villa facilities throughout the week?

Yes. Guests staying at the villa are welcome to enjoy the grounds, pool and shared spaces throughout their stay.

Guests & RSVP

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to seating limitations at the venue, we are only able to accommodate guests who have been named on their invitation.

Are children invited?

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate children. Only named guests on the invitation are invited due to seating limitations at the venue. We hope this gives you the chance to relax and enjoy the weekend.

When do we need to RSVP by?

Please submit your RSVP by the date shown on the RSVP page.

How do we share dietary requirements?

Dietary requirements can be shared when completing your RSVP, so we can make the appropriate arrangements in advance.

Are gifts expected?

Your presence in Spain to celebrate with us is more than enough. However, for those who have asked, details can be found on our Registry page.

The Villa & Week

Is there a pool at the villa?

Yes. The villa has a private pool available to all guests staying on site throughout the week.

What time is check-in?

Check-in details and room allocations will be shared with guests by email closer to the wedding.

What food and drinks are provided during the week?

Food and drinks will be provided for the main wedding events. Outside of those, the kitchen and barbecue facilities at the villa are available, and there are excellent restaurants nearby. See our restaurant recommendations.

What is the best way to explore the area?

A hire car is the easiest way to get around. The villa is set in the hills above Benahavís with plenty to see within a short drive. See our Things To Do page for ideas.

Is the Friday night dinner included?

The Friday evening is a chance for everyone to gather before the wedding. Dinner and drinks at La View will be settled individually on the evening.
